This seascape of Big Sur’s coast was based on an antique painting, signed Willard Little. His use of such a wide variety of color was something I wanted to study and experiment with.
This piece took 68.5 hours to complete, uses 118 colors with the number of strands varying in the different details, and the back is signed and dated.
