This pastoral scene was originally created for, and used in the making of, my book: Richly Stitched Landscape Embroidery: Mastering Thread Painted Scenes. Inspired by a day of wine tasting in Los Olivos, CA, this piece uses 53 colors with the number of strands varying in the different details, and the back is signed and dated.
